Professional’s Workshop

Jersey Women’s Refuge offers a one-day workshop on ‘The Dynamics and Consequences of Domestic Abuse’.

This training is designed for professionals working with individuals or families who have been affected by domestic abuse and want to improve understanding of its dynamics and consequences.

The workshop looks at:

• How abuse affects the victim & other family members
• How & why abuse begins and escalates in severity and frequency
• What stops the victim from leaving?
• What help is available for victims and their families?
