Sean’s Head Shave

http://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/seansheadshave

Sean Highfield is having his head shaved and legs waxed to raise money for two essential and very hard working charities in Jersey, the Jersey Centre for Separated Families (who also run Millis Child Contact Centre) and the Jersey Women’s Refuge . These charities both work hard to help and support families, women and children in Jersey who are struggling with family breakdown, violence and parents not being able to see their children.

Do you know someone who could do with some time out, pampering and relaxation? Then make plans for them to get to our Ladies Day.

We pack every corner of Reg’s beautiful gardens with practitioners ready to share their wellbeing know how, from massage, hairstyling hacks, to skincare, mindfulness, blood pressure checks to basic psychological wellbeing theory. Lunch is available from The Chugging Pig, and visitors can even try their hand at hobbies from Zen tangling to singing. Afternoon tea is served from 2pm – 3.45pm.

Our ticket purchase option below includes an entrance fee, reserves a free goodie bag, and a cup of tea and cake of the holders choice. As well as enjoying the tranquil gardens, they’ll also be able to watch our live entertainment in the beautiful outdoor auditorium and chat with experts on mental and physical health matters.

You can also buy your self or treat someone to a ticket that will include both Entrance and Tea plus pre pay for some donation ‘credits’ to really make sure the recipient of this gift is pampered:

To create a totally relaxed and encouraging environment, whilst we love and adore many men, this event is specifically designed for ladies only. Whilst it is not an event for children, young ladies aged 13 – 15 are welcomed where accompanied by an adult.

Domestic Violence is any form of physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse which is used to gain power and control over the other person in an intimate relationship.

Women often say emotional abuse is worse than physical abuse as it leaves no visible scars, is difficult to prove and can be very damaging.

Children living with domestic violence can also suffer in a variety of ways; either by witnessing violence itself, by being used as emotional pawns or indirectly by the stress suffered by their mother.
